Nine former Penn State players will participate in three upcoming senior all-star games that also serve as pre-draft showcases for NFL scouts.

Five players were selected for the East-West Shrine Game, three for the Senior Bowl and one for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. The games are scheduled for Jan. 20 and Jan. 27.

Among the interesting storylines will be the Penn State reunion at the Senior Bowl. Bill O’Brien, the former Penn State coach who just completed his fourth season with the Houston Texans, is one of the Senior Bowl coaches.
